Coppa Strawberry Daquiri Cocktail. A cocktail made with white rum, lime juice, strawberry juice and sugar. The classic Daiquiri takes its name from the place it was invented, the mining town Daiquiri on the south-eastern tip of Cuba. During the time of the Spanish-American War an American mining engineer by the name of Jennings Cox created the drink to protect his workers from yellow fever. To give it something extra, strawberry has been added to the classic Daiquiri beginning of the nineties. The variant is well-liked in all of the world nowadays.
