Wine Avdiros White Vourvoukeli Estate. This wine took the name “Avdiros”, after the son of the god Hermes, who was from Opounda in Lokrida. According to Greek mythology, the demigod Heracles built the town of Avdira in Thrace, in memory of his friend Avdiros when the last was killed during the fight with the wild horses of King Diomedes of Thrace. This label features the wild horse of Thrace. The wine has a soft lemon-yellow shade and intensely fruity aromas of peach, exotic fruits, and lemon blossoms. Its taste is characterized by a rich, refreshing sharpness and a long-lasting aromatic aftertaste.
