Mega Spilaio Mavro Kalavritino Merlot is a subversive and highly successful partnership. The rare, indigenous variety Mavro Kalavritino meets the cosmopolitan Merlot, creating a wine with a deep red color, complexity and strong personality. The grapes are grown in the privileged vineyard of Mega Spilaio in Achaia, at an altitude of almost 800 meters. The low yield per hectare and the careful aging in French and American oak barrels for about 8 months, give the wine excellent structure, velvety tannins and a rich bouquet of aromas that evolves in the glass.
