Wine Menexes Domaine Blend Red. The Menexes blend is produced from the Cretan variety Kotsifali and from the international Syrah and Merlot that mature in the privately owned vineyards of the estate. 30 years of experience in viticulture, careful vinification together with the 12-month aging in French oak barrels, offer this complex and special wine. The Menexes blend is characterized by a deep red color with purple highlights, the predominant aromas are those of dried apricot and plum which are harmoniously combined with subtle notes of vanilla. It should be served at a temperature of 16-18 oC. Ideal to accompany grilled and braised meats, game and spicy cheeses. The wine is bottled unfiltered and may show a residue in the bottle.
